Archive I is the first release in the Archive Collection, a series that returns to the household storage vessels that have travelled with people for thousands of years: water jars, grain pots, oil vessels, translated at the proportions and finish of contemporary work. The shapes are old; the bodies are new.

In Umber, the vessel takes a deep earthen brown tone with ochre hues and darker mineral specks scattered across the body. The exterior holds a soft sheen; the interior is finished with a glossy coffee-toned glaze.
